Delivering Instruction via Web-based Videos
Are you looking for new ways to teach library patrons who increasingly interact with the library via its web pages? Do you have patrons in other parts of the country you would like to train? Camtasia Studio provides a viable solution. The software produces professional-looking videos to be published on websites or be distributed with CD-ROMs or email. Camtasia captures computer desktop activities such as mouse movements and key strokes, which makes it ideal to capture and teach the steps of database searching. The speaker will demonstrate how to create a short video, and discuss steps in planning and developing such a project.
