Katie Herman has been with EOS 2 years and works closely with the Charleston School of Law on their Digital Law Library project, which has been a key element of their academic accredation. She has also worked very closely with their recent implementation of federated searching.

Federated Searching

Federated search functionality eliminates the problems associated with having to search, one at a time, dozens of databases, each of which have their own unique search interface and password authentication. With EOS.Web Federated Searching, from a single search interface users can select any set of database sources to search, whether it be the Web, Z39.50, commercial, internal or free.
